The waterfall is free..but you could pay 5 and park at Bonita.

When we went there, I don't recall having to pay to access the waterfall.

However, if you want to park the car or camp, I do believe there are some applicable fees.

To park the car in National Forest land, I believe you need to have an Adventure Pass (or some kind of National Forest Pass) displayed in your car. You can usually buy this at your local REI or other outdoor store, or some nearby Ranger station. I recalled we did do this as there was a ranger/visitor center en route.

There's also a nearby camping area close to the wash where you can access the falls. That one's private and I'm sure you have to pay to enter their property.
