Purlingbrook Falls, April 2009

I just wanted to add a shot I took of Purlingbrook Falls after recent heavy rain. Also, "Purlingbrook" is actually one word in the name of the falls, and two words (Purling Brook) in the name of the stream. I'm not sure who came up with that idea. The falls do generally flow year-round, although they can 'dry out' in particularly dry years (such as 2002).

Love your photo!

We came to beautiful Australia in August 2014 to visit dear friends. We had a fabulous day hiking to the Purlingbrook Falls and loved the rainforest around the area. Your photo wonderfully shows how mighty the water can be! Thanks! Papaya

Water indeed!
by: Ian Smith

The only other shots I've seen have been when it's fairly dry. Falls are so different when they're in full flow. Thanks for sharing.

Falls Looks Pretty Full
by: World of Waterfalls

The falls looks pretty full in your photo. Much more substantial than the photo that we took.

Thanks for your contributions. We really appreciate seeing waterfalls from different perspectives. Keep 'em coming!
