Brazos Falls is the tallest waterfall in New Mexico. Flowing after the snow melts above the falls, it may be only a week or so to see it roaring down the gorge in the Brazos cliffs. It sounds like a jet engine at a distance when I viewed it at its peak flow. You may reach the falls by the road going east from Tierra Amarilla along the Brazos River or the Rio Brazos. There’s private property all around the falls so you won’t get any better view than from one of the public streets in the area unless you’re staying at the lodge perhaps.
