These falls may be found on a tributary creek to the Animas River above Silverton, Colorado, which is also above Howardsville and Eureka on the way towards Animas Forks, and said to have been a ghost town. If you look to the Animas River from this point, you will see remnants of mining, including a cable across the Animas River. It was high when I saw it last with pieces of wood dangling from it.
