Went out to Manoa Falls after work yesterday for the first time since I moved to Oahu (3 years ago). This was a great beginner hike, and we completed the trail in about an hour and a half (including stopping and observing birds and plants and running water).
It had been pouring rain all day so the waterfall was gigantic! We got sprayed with water as the wind was kicking off of the fall.
The trail itself was well marked and the state obviously keeps it up to par. There were make shift stairs and barriers to stop erosion in place.
Not exactly the driest hike I have ever taken, but this is a definite must see.
