US Canada Border crossing dilema

The discussions on which side of Niagara Falls is better, the US or the Canadian side, does not take into account what side of the border one starts on. The Niagara Falls US Canada border crossing is constantly backed up with delays commonly running up to an hour or more, depending the time of day and the direction you are headed. This needs to be factored in if you plan on crossing for a better viewing experience.
